Whole Life Ahead?
Ever hear the phrase, “You have your whole life ahead of you to do that”. Well I say fuck it. You don’t. How can you think even for a second that you do? I mean what with all the possible ways for you to die in today’s day and age you may not live to see tomorrow forget about the rest of your life. So my thought is that when there’s something you want to do (provided its not like harmful, you know like drugs and shit) you shouldn’t waste another minute getting down to doing it.
If you want to learn an instrument or maybe you want to dance, do it. You never know when it maybe too late. I realized, too late is only when you can’t do it. So long as you have the capability and desire to do something, you can. My parents said why do you want to earn money? You should be studying; you have the rest of your life to work. How can they or me myself know that? I want to know what it feels like to earn my own money, hard earned, sweated after. I want to know what it feels like to play a song on the guitar for a girl, sure I can do it when I’m 50 also, but what’s to say that I will get to. I have I chance know I plan on taking it. Opportunity only knocks once, answer it or I will.

Agree.Completely. But then isn’t it also about knowing what to do now and what to do later?
To without discretion say you’re going to do what you feel like at this moment is fatal. Its a matter of prioritising; of what you should do vs what you want to do vs the other things u want to do vs the other things that you should do. Ultimately the best you can do is give it consideration in the light of what means how much to you (also considering long term prospects). You make a choice depending on what matters to you more. You can decide for yourself if the job you take is worth the time it might use up, the time you could have otherwise spent studying and getting a better gpa which could affect your career prospects. Or you could decide ure well equipped to handle both without letting either performance dip. OR you could decide the slight dip is worth the experience, the feeling of “knowing what it feels like to earn your own money, hard earned, sweated after.” Its all about the about choices. Opportunity comes knocking only once, yes, but there are many different things you could do at a particular point of time, and you might feel like doing one but you gotta weigh it against the other options you have and make sure you’re not doing something totally stupid just ‘cos you want to.
Its not always about what you want to do, a lot of the time you have to do stuff to ultimately get the bigger stuff that you want.
ok, rant over:)
